My name is Angie, and I am a survivor of Stage IV Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC). I was diagnosed in July 2004 at the age of 33, two months after I was married to my husband, Colin.

In February 2005, while waiting for our flight home from a young survivors conference in Philadelphia, I wrote A Survivor's Creed. As I sat on the floor at the airport, bald with pen and notebook in hand, it was my hope to create something that could be read over and over during the tough times of the journey through cancer. Something that would inspire hope and determination.

After a bit of work, the poem was arranged in the shape of a ribbon and the pink ribbon graphic was added. When we started sharing it with our family and friends we received such an incredible reaction that we decided to create our first website and webstore.
